The International Accreditation Service, Inc. (IAS), in response to the Metal Building Manufacturers Association's request, has recently approved new accrediation criteria for Inspection Programs for Manufacturers of Metal Building Systems. The new criteria, identified as AC472, is designed to address the metal building industry's need for a comprehensive quality management system based on international standards.
